The SLOA invites you to celebrate National Day. National Day marks the beginning of the Christmas season celebrations, with religious, cultural, sporting, social, and commercial activities.

On December 10, 2017 we will begin our holiday celebrations with a Church Service and Reception. The SLOA Youth Committee will also host the Children's Holiday Party.


The SLOA Executive invites you to Jounen Kweyol 2017. A mix of creole (Kweyol) food, music, games and folklore will come together to give this festival a unique flavour. Let's express our love of culture and take time to celebrate the richness of our traditions and language.

The Jounen Kweyol kitchen will be open - stop by for bakes, saltfish, green bananas, coconut cake, souce, sorrel, fishcakes, and so much more.
